Together, Amazon Web Services (AWS) re/Start and getINNOtized are excited to build an inclusive and diverse pipeline of new cloud talent. And you can be part of it! The AWS re/Start program is a skills development program that prepares you for entry-level careers in the cloud and connects you to potential employers.

The program covers Linux, Python, Networking, Security, and relational database skills. You have the opportunity to pursue the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam. We also provide CV and interview coaching to prepare you for job interviews to launch an entry-level cloud career. In course of the program, you will get supported by professional mentors and accredited trainers, to complete this 12-week training program – featuring real-world scenario-based learning, hands-on labs, and coursework.

The Digital Skills Accelerator Africa e.V. (DSAA) – an independent organisation focused on training highly skilled digital workforce talent in Africa – is contributing to the implementation of the Azubi AWS re/Start program by getINNOtized in Ghana. The DSAA is supported by the Special Initiative on Training and Job Creation of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

AWS CLOUD PRACTITIONER ESSENTIALS
(12 WEEKS)

Soft Skills:

Self assessment and evaluation, CV writing, Effective communication, Coaching, Leadership principles, Time management, Being an effective teamplayer, Preparing for and acing interviews

AWS Cloud:

Introduction to IT, Linux Fundamentals, Networking Fundamentals, Introduction to Programming, Database Fundamentals, Cloud Foundations and Cloud Operations, Mock Interviews and mock exams

Final Exam:

Final assessment, knowledge check and certification exam

DSAA

Digital Skill Accelerator Africa e.V. (DSAA) is an independent association of digital leaders both from the public and private sectors, with pilot projects in Ghana and Morocco. DSAA is supported by Invest for Jobs, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The DSAA enables young professionals in Africa to participate in IT related training and further education programs as well as prospects of subsequent employment in partner companies. The training activities create better and more employment to carry out international customer orders.

getINNOtized

getINNOtized is a software company that connects academia with the global business world. getINNOtized empowers young African talents to reach their potential through job opportunities with global counterparts, primarily in the fields of Data Science and Software Engineering. The company provides a platform for young talents in Africa to meet the demands of European/global organizations.

AWS re/Start

AWS re/Start is a skills development program that prepares learners for entry-level careers in the cloud. The program’s mission is to build local talent by providing AWS Cloud skills development and job opportunities to unemployed or underemployed populations —and otherwise might not have access to this path. AWS re/Start works with non-profit, philanthropic, and government organizations to deliver a learning experience that provides a pathway to earning AWS Certification, and support participants as they launch their cloud careers.
